During March 2026, contributed to the dockur/lemmy and dockur/lemmy-ui repositories by delivering end-to-end private messaging deletion features, enhancing user privacy and data lifecycle management. Developed user-controlled deletion of received private messages on the backend, involving database schema changes and updates to the notification system using Rust and TypeScript. On the frontend, implemented recipient-side message deletion with React, refining the user interface and aligning client logic with server behavior. Strengthened reliability through targeted tests and query-level filtering improvements, while coordinating cross-repository updates to ensure seamless integration and maintainability across both backend and frontend components without introducing new bugs.
