Delivered Chinese (Traditional Han) localization support for the Penpot frontend, enabling users to interact with the application in their native script and expanding accessibility for Traditional Chinese speakers. Focused on frontend internationalization using JavaScript, the work involved updating translation metadata and integrating with Weblate to streamline the translation workflow. Translation coverage reached 77.5 percent, with 1603 out of 2066 strings localized, and a public translation URL was established to facilitate ongoing collaboration. No major bugs were reported during this period, as efforts centered on feature delivery and readiness, supporting Penpot’s adoption in new language markets through improved localization management.
