Worked on the radiocosmology/draco repository to streamline the installation workflow for contributors and developers. Focused on updating the installation process to use pip’s editable mode, replacing the previous python setup.py install approach, which brought the Draco package in line with standard Python packaging practices. Enhanced the project’s documentation by revising the README.md in Markdown, providing clear, step-by-step guidance for both new and existing contributors. This update reduced setup friction, improved onboarding, and enabled faster development cycles and easier testing. The work primarily involved documentation skills and a strong understanding of Python packaging standards, with all changes delivered within one month.
