Worked on enhancing GraphQL exception handling within the spring-projects/spring-boot repository by improving test coverage and aligning testing practices with established conventions. Focused on updating GraphQL slice tests to incorporate @ControllerAdvice, ensuring that exception handling was consistent with @WebMvcTest standards. Utilized Java and the Spring Framework to refine test slicing and validation of GraphQlExceptionHandler behavior, which contributed to more reliable and maintainable tests. The work reduced regression risk by providing clearer validation of error handling logic, demonstrating skills in GraphQL, Java, and testing methodologies while contributing code review and signed-off changes to the project’s core testing infrastructure.
