Worked on the google/perfetto repository to deliver a new WiFi Network Activity Tracing UI with high-volume packet capture capabilities. Developed a dedicated Network section within the UI to support WiFi debugging, enabling visualization and analysis of 802.11 layer events, packet traffic, and custom driver-specific ftrace events. Enhanced the trace recorder by adding network activity controls and a specialized buffer for high-throughput packet data, improving the diagnosis of complex wireless issues. Utilized JavaScript and TypeScript alongside debugging tools and system trace techniques to strengthen observability for wireless deployments and streamline root-cause analysis of WiFi network performance problems.
