Over a two-month period, contributed to git-town/git-town by developing configurable proposal breadcrumbs, introducing new options for direction and style to enhance workflow clarity and adaptability. This work leveraged Go and configuration management skills, with thorough documentation and unit testing to ensure maintainability. Later, focused on mehah/otclient, implementing native macOS windowing and input enhancements using C++, Cocoa, and OpenGL, aligning user experience with platform conventions and improving input handling and keyboard shortcuts. Additional improvements included enhanced network error detection, refined macOS build processes, and expanded test infrastructure, collectively increasing stability and reducing friction for both users and developers on macOS.
In May 2026, delivered native macOS windowing and input UX enhancements for otclient via Cocoa/AppKit integration, improving input handling, clipboard/cursor behavior, and platform-aware keyboard shortcuts. Also completed network error detection improvements, macOS build/packaging refinements, and test infrastructure upgrades to boost stability and release confidence. These changes align macOS behavior with platform conventions, reduce friction for macOS users, and improve developer feedback loops.
