During September 2025, Magnet Magnetic focused on upgrading the Notes App packaging in the haikuports/haikuports repository, moving it from version 2.1.0 to 2.3.1 to support Qt6 QML/Quick dependencies. Magnet managed build system and package management tasks, updating source URIs, checksums, and dependency lists to align with the new release requirements. The work involved validating both build and runtime compatibility on the Haiku operating system, ensuring the Notes App functioned correctly with the latest Qt6 features. Using Haiku Recipe language and build system management skills, Magnet delivered a targeted, well-documented upgrade that prepared the package for future Qt6 migration.
