Developed and delivered the Software Engineering Insights (SEI) Module within the harness/mcp-server repository, introducing tools to analyze engineering productivity, efficiency, and business alignment. Focused on backend development using Go, the work included implementing new API endpoints for comprehensive SEI data retrieval and enhancing team lookup mechanisms to support cross-team analytics. The approach leveraged microservices architecture and API integration to establish a robust foundation for future SEI features, enabling advanced analytics and reporting capabilities. This initial release addressed the need for data-driven decision making and performance visibility across engineering teams, laying groundwork for ongoing value delivery within the platform.
