Worked on stabilizing VLAN IP allocation and interface listing within the Zephyr NET subsystem, focusing on resolving a bug that caused IP_TUNNEL0 to be misidentified and incorrectly assigned VLAN IPs. Addressed this issue in the zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr repository by ensuring IP_TUNNEL0 is no longer listed as a VLAN interface and that VLAN interfaces receive the correct IP assignments. Utilized C programming and network programming skills to implement and validate these changes through unit and integration tests. The improvements enhanced the reliability of the VLAN sample application, preventing ping failures and supporting more consistent testing and development workflows.
