Worked on the Metrolist repository to advance internationalization by implementing Polish localization for the Android application. Focused on updating and adding UI strings in XML, the work increased Polish language coverage to over 60 percent, directly enhancing accessibility for Polish-speaking users. Leveraged Weblate to manage the translation workflow, enabling scalable and collaborative localization efforts with translators. The approach established a foundation for ongoing i18n improvements, ensuring that new and existing strings are efficiently managed. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and process optimization in Android development, localization, and XML string management.
