Worked on the Sonarr/Sonarr repository to deliver screen reader accessibility enhancements, focusing on adding ARIA labels to interactive elements throughout the front end. The approach preserved the existing user interface structure and logic, ensuring that no regressions were introduced while improving usability for visually impaired users. Leveraged React for component updates and applied front-end accessibility best practices to achieve non-disruptive UI improvements. All changes were documented with a dedicated commit for traceability and careful change management. Utilized JavaScript and TypeScript to implement these updates, expanding accessibility and demonstrating a commitment to inclusive design without altering core application functionality.
