Worked on the ministryofjustice/modernisation-platform-environments repository to enhance preproduction readiness for electronic monitoring data. Focused on infrastructure as code using Terraform and HCL, the work involved updating the preproduction databases list to include g4s_cap_dw, enabling more comprehensive data sharing for testing scenarios. Implemented new access controls by configuring permissions for the g4s_emsys_tpims service, which strengthened data security and supported safer validation of data pipelines. Documented and stabilized these environment changes to reduce risk during preproduction testing. The approach emphasized controlled data sharing and robust access management, contributing to a more reliable and secure preproduction environment for ongoing development.
