Over a three-month period, contributed to the ministryofjustice/cloud-platform-environments and related repositories by building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and backend features. Delivered a UAT namespace for the LAA Data Claims Notify Service, implementing Kubernetes resource quotas, RBAC, and network policies to improve testing fidelity and platform governance. Enhanced API reliability in laa-data-claims-api by refining assessment retrieval logic and updating exception handling in Java and Spring Framework. Automated deployment workflows using GitHub Actions and Terraform, and integrated AWS and Azure services for robust cloud environments. Focused on production-readiness, validated changes with end-to-end tests, and addressed both feature delivery and bug fixes.
May 2026: Delivered a new UAT namespace for the LAA Data Claims Notify Service in ministryofjustice/cloud-platform-environments. This environment provides isolated testing with role-based access control, resource quotas/limits, and network policies to mirror production while safeguarding production workloads. This work reduces deployment risk, improves testing fidelity, and enhances platform governance. Relevant work item: DSTEW-1526; commit adec91b0708c52b280f37ae1451d41448013c31b.
