During January 2025, Mathieu Deous focused on repository hygiene within the bhargavnariyanicrest/integrations-core project by removing two obsolete dependency-tracking files, macos_py2.txt and macos_py3.txt. This work, implemented in Python and leveraging skills in code cleanup and dependency management, aimed to streamline the repository’s dependency tracking process without introducing functional changes. By eliminating outdated files, Mathieu reduced maintenance overhead and clarified the project’s dependency landscape, making future onboarding and updates more straightforward. The changes were carefully documented and linked to the relevant issue for traceability, reflecting a disciplined approach to version control and non-disruptive technical debt reduction.
