Developed a baseline LED blinking feature for the masa-umich/Rocket-Avionics repository, targeting the Nucleo-H723ZG flight control system. The work involved creating a main C module that initializes system hardware, configures GPIOs for LED control, and implements a periodic real-time task to provide a visible startup indicator. By establishing a reusable initialization pattern and LED-based health indicator, the implementation simplifies future debugging and accelerates the integration of additional flight-control features. Leveraging C programming, RTOS concepts, and embedded systems expertise, this contribution delivered a concrete, testable foundation for future status indicators and real-time task scheduling in microcontroller environments.
