Worked on the lightningd/plugins repository to deliver a focused dependency maintenance update, ensuring the plugin suite remained aligned with the latest subproject release. The approach involved updating the subproject commit reference in the hold file, which improved build reproducibility and traceability without requiring any direct code changes. By pinning dependencies to a specific commit, the update reduced upgrade risks for downstream plugins and supported smoother release cycles. This work leveraged skills in Git for version control and shell scripting for build management, emphasizing careful dependency management and stability within the codebase while maintaining compatibility with the evolving upstream project.
