In February 2025, Michael Vence established a cohesive UI design system for the wics-uic/WiCS-Website repository, focusing on scalable frontend architecture. He delivered a global theme using CSS and Tailwind CSS, introducing a unified color palette and typography via Google Fonts to ensure consistent branding across the site. His approach centered on design-token-inspired styling, laying the groundwork for maintainable and reusable components. By integrating these technologies, Michael enabled faster UI iterations and reduced the time required for future enhancements. The work addressed the need for a standardized visual language, resulting in a more efficient and sustainable frontend development process.
