Worked on stabilizing the data-loading workflow for the satijalab/seurat repository, focusing on spatial data processing in bioinformatics applications. Addressed a bug in the Load10X_Spatial function by ensuring the use.names argument is correctly passed to Read10X_h5, which improved naming consistency for segmented 10X Spatial data. The approach emphasized targeted, minimal code changes to maintain the reliability of the spatial data import path without introducing new features. Utilized R for data preprocessing tasks, prioritizing code review and workflow hardening to reduce downstream errors. The work demonstrated careful attention to core functionality and data integrity within the existing pipeline.
