Worked on the block/buzz repository to deliver canonical model ID normalization and deduplication within the Mesh UI, addressing the issue of duplicate model entries in the model picker. Leveraging Rust and Tauri for backend development, the solution introduced logic to collapse models advertised with and without the '@main' suffix into a single entry, thereby improving data integrity and user experience. A regression test was added to ensure ongoing reliability of this deduplication process. Additionally, the work included a fix to enhance startup channel discovery robustness, focusing on retry mechanisms and ensuring consistent model selection behavior across application restarts and updates.
