During June 2026, work focused on developing the Soda Cloud Data Source Testing Log Uploads feature for the sodadata/soda-core repository. This involved implementing robust log ingestion keyed by scan identifiers, integrating CLI configuration for Soda Cloud, and ensuring logs were reliably captured and uploaded during data-source tests. The solution supported both scan_id and scan_reference endpoints, routing logs to batchV4 or batchV3 as appropriate, and attached the uploader early in the process to capture logs during YAML parsing. Python was used for backend development, API integration, and data processing, with code quality maintained through Black formatting and pre-commit CI updates.
