Worked on the newrelic/entity-definitions repository to deliver a new CI/CD provider telemetry integration, introducing an entity type designed to capture and synthesize CI/CD process data for enhanced observability and incident response. The approach involved backend development and data modeling, using JSON and YAML to define rule-based telemetry attributes and a validated test event, ensuring reliable integration and traceability. The work included implementing an extension entity to aggregate telemetry from multiple CI/CD providers, supporting cross-provider visibility and capacity planning. No bugs were reported during this period, as the focus remained on robust feature delivery, validation, and repository ownership metadata.
