During October 2024, Myte focused on enhancing the reliability and security of MFUL card access within the flipperdevices/flipperzero-firmware repository. Addressing a critical issue, Myte resolved a bug affecting password-protected MIFARE Ultralight C card reads by simplifying the page-reading logic to process and log only the relevant page, thereby reducing the risk of exposing protected data. This targeted patch improved traceability and maintained firmware stability without introducing new user-facing features. Working primarily in C and leveraging expertise in embedded systems and NFC protocols, Myte’s contribution demonstrated careful attention to secure data handling and robust firmware maintenance within a complex codebase.
