During December 2025, Sudfiwe developed interactive PDF report generation for the matmair/InvenTree repository, focusing on embedding HTML form controls directly within PDFs. Leveraging Python and WeasyPrint, Sudfiwe enabled users to fill out forms inside generated reports, streamlining data collection and enhancing user engagement. The technical approach involved adjusting backend PDF generation logic to support interactive elements, with comprehensive documentation updates in Markdown to guide users through the new functionality. While the work centered on a single feature, it demonstrated depth in backend development and documentation, addressing a practical need for more dynamic, user-friendly PDF reports without introducing bug fixes during the period.
