Worked on the kufu/smarthr-ui repository, focusing on front end development with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Addressed a critical bug related to Japanese locale formatting, specifically resolving a zero-padding issue that occurred when the disableSlashInJa option was used. This fix improved the accuracy of numeric displays and forms for Japanese users, reducing the risk of mis-formatting and enhancing the reliability of localization features. By targeting this edge-case behavior, the work contributed to better internationalization support and increased user trust in data presentation. No new features were shipped during this period, with efforts concentrated on this impactful bug fix.
