Worked on the Leaflet/Leaflet repository to address a persistent issue with Safari’s Canvas redraw tests, focusing on improving the reliability of the test suite. Tackled a flaky test by updating its logic to use double requestAnimationFrame calls, ensuring more accurate verification of redraw behavior in Safari. This approach reduced intermittent failures and enhanced the stability of cross-browser testing, leading to faster and more dependable CI feedback loops. Leveraged JavaScript and front end development skills, with an emphasis on automated testing, to deliver measurable improvements in deployment confidence and overall code quality, despite a short engagement and a focus on bug resolution.
