Developed and delivered a deploymentAnnotations feature for the prometheus-kafka-exporter Helm chart in the DrFaust92/helm-charts-2 repository, enabling users to specify custom Kubernetes deployment annotations for enhanced flexibility and observability. The work focused on extending Helm chart templates using YAML to support user-defined annotations, aligning with Kubernetes best practices and improving deployment customization. Leveraged DevOps principles and Git-based workflows, including code review and traceable commits, to ensure maintainability and transparency. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and documentation. Demonstrated proficiency in Helm, Kubernetes, and YAML within a collaborative development environment.
