Worked on the openhab/openhab-addons repository to enhance the reliability of device discovery for Samsung TV integrations in Docker environments. Developed and documented targeted guidance for configuring jupnp environment variables, addressing common issues users face when deploying in containers. The solution was implemented as a Markdown-based documentation update, focusing on practical DevOps workflows and Docker deployment strategies. By clarifying environment variable usage, the work reduced setup complexity and troubleshooting time for containerized deployments. Collaboration was managed through Git, ensuring the guidance was accessible and maintainable within the project’s documentation.
