Worked on the penpot/penpot repository to deliver Russian localization for the frontend UI and error messages, enhancing accessibility for Russian-speaking users. Focused on front-end development and internationalization, the effort involved translating 1530 out of 1956 strings, reaching 78.2% coverage. The localization process was managed through Weblate, integrating seamlessly with the existing translation workflow. JavaScript was used to implement the translations, ensuring consistency across the user interface. This work addressed the need for broader language support in the application, laying the groundwork for future localization improvements and making the platform more inclusive for a diverse user base.
