Worked on the MaheshGSLAB/ansible-avd repository to deliver a FlowDNS configuration option for flow records, enhancing the flexibility of DNS resolution within network automation workflows. Leveraging Ansible, Jinja2, and Python, the solution introduced a configurable toggle for DNS resolution in daemon_terminattr and updated AVD schemas and templates to support new flowdns and cvtargetconfigs settings. This approach ensured consistent configuration generation across both eos_cli_config_gen and eos_designs modules, improving governance and deployment safety. The work focused on schema extensibility and template updates, enabling end-to-end parity and safer feature management for DNS resolution in automated network environments.
