Worked on the mostafaalagamy/Metrolist repository to deliver a complete French localization, translating 319 user-facing strings to support French-speaking users and enhance the product’s international reach. Leveraged XML for structured string management and integrated Weblate as the translation workflow, ensuring all updates were traceable and easily maintainable. Focus remained on internationalization and accessibility, with no major bug fixes during the period. The approach emphasized collaboration with localization tools and adherence to best practices, resulting in a fully localized interface. This work broadened Metrolist’s accessibility and market potential, demonstrating skills in XML, translation workflows, and version control with Git.
