Worked on enhancing the Salesforce Pub/Sub integration within the apache/camel repository by implementing propagation of the Event ID header for processed messages. Focused on backend development using Java, the work involved updating both the PubSubApiConsumer and PubSubApiClient components to extract and pass the Event ID, thereby improving end-to-end traceability and reliability in the Pub/Sub workflow. Introduced a SalesforceConstants header to ensure consistent header management across components. This feature addressed enterprise requirements for observability and message tracking, leveraging skills in API integration and Salesforce integration to deliver a targeted improvement to the message processing pipeline without introducing bug fixes.
