During January 2026, Naga Tangudu developed and integrated the React Native Sourcemaps NGEP Entity Type within the newrelic/entity-definitions repository. Leveraging configuration management and entity definition skills, Naga used YAML to define the new entity type, ensuring compatibility with the current-generation entity platform. The implementation included manual expiration settings and disabled alerts, directly addressing governance needs and reducing unnecessary alert noise. This work established a foundation for consistent entity management across NGEP and the updated platform, facilitating smoother onboarding of React Native sourcemap data. No bugs were reported, reflecting a focused and well-scoped contribution during the period.
