Worked on the primefaces/primevue repository to address accessibility and internationalization in the DataTable component. Focused on refining the locale-aware ARIA label logic for the ColumnFilter, implementing a fix that ensures correct labeling when toggling the filter menu. Utilized Vue and front-end development skills to guard against undefined locale configurations by introducing optional chaining, which reduces the risk of UI mislabeling across different locales. The solution improved consistency and accessibility for international users while maintaining a minimal code footprint. This targeted bug fix demonstrated attention to detail in component development and a methodical approach to quality assurance and internationalization.
