Developed and delivered Cross-Region Restore (CRR) configuration mappings for Delos cloud regions within the Azure/azure-cli repository, focusing on enabling disaster recovery-ready workflows. The work involved updating the secondary region map to include reciprocal pairings for Germany Central and Germany North, ensuring symmetry and alignment with Azure’s multi-region strategy. Leveraging expertise in Azure CLI, cloud infrastructure, and Python, the developer centralized CRR mappings to enhance maintainability and reduce manual configuration. All changes were consolidated into a single commit, streamlining the integration process and supporting more automated, resilient backup operations across multiple cloud regions without introducing new bugs during the period.
