Worked on the UTDallasEPICS/xuchil repository to establish a foundational product data model supporting units, product categories, products, product variants, and raw materials. Focused on robust database schema design using Prisma ORM and SQL, ensuring structured storage and scalable management of product information. Addressed schema integrity by safely reverting an unintended migration, restoring a stable database state and preventing downstream issues. Updated the Prisma schema to reflect new data models, enabling reliable reporting and improved data quality. This work laid the groundwork for faster feature delivery and enhanced analytics, demonstrating depth in database management and schema evolution within a production environment.
