Developed core endpoints for retrieving products, both in bulk and by ID, while refactoring routes and controllers to streamline the API surface. Enhanced the product data model by introducing categories and process steps, then migrated the database to MySQL to support these richer attributes. All changes were implemented using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Prisma ORM, with careful attention to REST API design and schema evolution. The work established a maintainable foundation for future analytics and workflows, with all improvements tracked through commit-based traceability.
