Worked on enhancing the Metrolist repository by implementing Spanish localization across the user interface, focusing on accessibility and internationalization. Leveraged XML and Weblate to deliver near-complete translation coverage for Spanish (US), integrating the translation process into the release workflow to ensure maintainability and scalability. Prioritized translation quality and repeatable localization processes, enabling a smoother experience for Spanish-speaking users and laying the foundation for future language support. Emphasized UI-focused improvements without addressing bug fixes, demonstrating a methodical approach to i18n and localization. The work advanced Metrolist’s readiness for global audiences and established a sustainable workflow for ongoing localization efforts.
