Developed a reliability-focused feature for the evcc-io/evcc repository, enhancing the OCPP boot flow by introducing a proactive BootNotification mechanism. This update triggers BootNotification after establishing a WebSocket connection, incorporating a stabilization delay to address race conditions and improve the robustness of charger communication. The work centered on backend development using Go, with careful handling of asynchronous sequencing and protocol logic to ensure dependable session startups and clearer operational traceability. The implementation was delivered as a single, auditable commit, reflecting a focused engineering approach that prioritized reliability and maintainability without introducing new bugs during the development period.
