Worked on enhancing the ITS deadmap calibration workflow in the AliceO2 repository, focusing on improving flexibility and efficiency for calibration operators. Developed a shell scripting solution that introduced configurable options to skip static map generation and to avoid grouping ITS lanes, thereby streamlining the calibration setup process. This approach reduced manual effort and allowed for more precise calibration outcomes, aligning with project requirements for robust and adaptable workflows. The work demonstrated proficiency in Shell and workflow automation, delivering a targeted feature that advanced the calibration pipeline’s usability without introducing new bugs, and maintained compatibility with existing processes in the AliceO2 codebase.
