Worked on Tamil localization and UI translation enhancements for the Metrolist repository, focusing on improving accessibility for Tamil-speaking users. Established a Weblate-driven translation workflow to streamline the process, enabling translation progress tracking and easier collaboration. Utilized XML for managing interface strings and applied localization and mobile development skills to correct existing translations and introduce new ones, supporting features such as sharing lyrics and color customization. Translated 38 out of 619 strings, laying the foundation for broader internationalization and future feature expansion. The work emphasized maintainable translation infrastructure and set up the project for continued growth in multilingual support.
