Developed SPASE XML metadata support for the IBEX-r04-transport dataset within the hpde/NASA repository, focusing on enhancing data discoverability and interoperability for space physics research. The work involved creating six standardized XML files that align with SPASE metadata standards, enabling more consistent cataloging and facilitating reproducible data curation. Leveraging expertise in data engineering, metadata management, and XML, the developer ensured that the new metadata structure supports faster and more reliable data discovery for researchers. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and the technical implementation of metadata standards using SPASE and XML technologies.
