Worked on GovCloud readiness and artifact delivery for the Datadog agent suite, focusing on enabling FIPS variant support within OCI manifests. In the DataDog/datadog-agent-buildimages repository, introduced a variant flag to customize manifests, allowing for FIPS-compliant deployments. Enhanced the DataDog/datadog-agent repository by publishing a FIPS-flavored sibling manifest and updating installer logic to select binaries based on environment variables. Leveraged Go, Docker, and YAML to unify upgrade workflows, enabling a single install URL and flavor-aware manifest matching. Validated these changes through end-to-end and CI testing, ensuring reliable, risk-reduced deployments for GovCloud environments without requiring separate artifacts.
