Olive Godswill enhanced the kobotoolbox/kpi repository by designing and implementing a branch-aware CI/CD deployment workflow using GitLab CI, Helm, and YAML. Over two months, Olive introduced conditional deployment rules that direct main branch builds to dedicated staging environments while isolating feature branch deployments, improving reliability and reducing risk of cross-environment interference. Olive also modernized the pipeline by migrating from deprecated GitLab CI syntax to rules-based triggers and updating to the latest Alpine Helm image, which stabilized deployments and accelerated feedback cycles. The work focused on deployment consistency, traceability, and safer feature delivery, demonstrating solid DevOps and CI/CD expertise.
