Phil enhanced the bulk import workflow for the kobotoolbox/kpi repository by enabling support for non-image attachments within ZIP archives during data submissions. Using Python and leveraging backend development and file handling expertise, Phil modified the import logic to recognize and process a broader range of file types alongside XML data, rather than limiting imports to images. This update addressed the need for more complete data ingestion, reducing manual post-processing and reconciliation.
