Worked on the teslamate-org/teslamate repository to deliver a targeted UI enhancement for the WebView, focusing on improving icon visibility and contrast in dark mode. The approach ensured that icons now inherit the current text color, aligning with established color tokens for better accessibility and readability. Using Elixir and HTML, the work emphasized UI correctness and consistency, laying groundwork for future theming improvements. The change was implemented with clear, focused commits to support traceability and maintainability. No bugs were reported or fixed during this period, as the effort concentrated on refining front end development and enhancing the overall web user experience.
