
Worked on expanding capacity modeling coverage within the Netflix-Skunkworks/service-capacity-modeling repository by adding support for new AWS instance families, specifically i4i and i3en. Leveraged Python to update configuration files and test suites, ensuring that the system accurately reflected larger disk sizes for these new hardware types. Focused on capacity planning and system configuration, the changes improved the accuracy of capacity projections and broadened hardware support for cloud computing environments. By updating both the INSTANCE_TYPES definitions and corresponding test cases, the work enabled more reliable planning for evolving infrastructure needs without introducing any new bugs during the development period.
