Worked on the NVIDIA/doca-sosreport repository to extend OpenShift data collection capabilities for OpenShift 4.16 and newer versions. Updated the OpenShift SOS plugin to require the openshift-kubelet component, ensuring compatibility with recent OpenShift installations and reducing the need for manual intervention by users. Focused on enhancing the reliability and coverage of SOS reporting, the work involved debugging and system administration tasks using Python. By addressing compatibility issues and automating data collection for newer clusters, the developer improved operational efficiency and data accuracy for OpenShift environments, delivering a targeted feature update within a focused one-month development period.
