Worked on the grafana/grafana repository to deliver an Azure AD OAuth managed identity token refresh feature, focusing on backend development and API integration using Go. Refactored the token fetching logic into a reusable helper, streamlining authentication code paths and reducing duplication across managed and workload identity sources. Enhanced authentication observability by elevating token fetch errors from debug to error level, enabling faster incident detection and improved troubleshooting. Updated workspace configuration to align with the new authentication flow and laid the foundation for broader Azure Identity integration. This work improved reliability and maintainability of cloud authentication workflows within the project.
