Worked on the DataDog/datadog-agent repository to enhance the macOS user experience by implementing a secure GUI restart flow through system-probe, leveraging Go for system programming and HTTP API design. Developed a background launch mechanism for the WLAN fallback to prevent focus disruption during IPC socket initialization, improving workflow continuity. Strengthened GUI authentication by validating Origin headers and configuring SameSite cookie settings, addressing security concerns. Improved CI reliability by introducing a readiness check for the macOS system-probe socket, reducing intermittent test failures. Added targeted unit tests to ensure robustness of new features, demonstrating a focus on reliability, security, and maintainability.
