Praveen Pulgam enhanced correlation data management in the newrelic/entity-definitions repository by introducing new entity types to support linking rules and internal sources. Using YAML for configuration management, Praveen implemented the CORRELATION_LINKING_RULE entity along with two supporting entities, enabling more precise alerting and streamlined governance of correlation data. The work focused on entity management and infrastructure management, ensuring that incident workflows could be handled with greater clarity. All changes were fully traceable through Git, supporting future audits and reviews. This targeted feature addressed a specific need for improved correlation, reflecting a focused and well-scoped engineering contribution within the project.
